Coffee, pills, and watching baseball. A video game on my list, Chained Echoes, went on sale. It's normally $20-25, it just dropped to $10 on Microsoft's store. Yay.

Testing a power supply with a power supply tester that I bought years ago. The tester still seems to be in working condition, which is important, as I'm picking up a new power supply today and it will need testing.

I tested my new power supply. I was surprised by the fact that it included four PCIe cables. For a moment I thought they might have included a PCIe cable or two instead of one or more of the EPS cables. One of the cables labeled PCIe is actually the 12V-2x6 cable, somewhat uninformatively. And there were a couple of interesting inclusions. A packet of screws for securing the power supply and some zip ties for managing cables. I would have rather they included some cable combs, but I guess it's fine.

For the longest time, when Apple did a major OS upgrade (as in the one from iOS 15 to iOS 16), apps that weren't upgraded to work with them would just not work anymore. Part of why I've waited so long to actually activate my new phone is because of Chorderator. It's an app I love that A) hasn't been able to make the jump up to iOS 16, and B) has yet to have a good substitute.
So, after my old phone went apeshit because of a spam call that it wouldn't let me respond to, I decided to finally activate my new phone. And once it was done, I actually noticed that Chorderator is working now.

Yeah, it sure as hell doesn't end at eighteen. Thanks for the well-wishes. They're saying he should be home tonight. I recall one of my brothers, when he was a youngish father of three, asking our mam, ‘How old are kids before you stop worrying about them all the time?’ Her reply, ‘How old are YOU?’ Boru
