Mwahaha, it is okay. I get a kick out of confusion over my sex and gender on the internet.

Drinking coffee and marveling at all the activity in this thread.

I can understand that diagnosing ADHD and bipolar may be tricky, but I see no reason why it wouldn't happen. Being diagnosed bipolar doesn't necessarily mean you'll be successful treating it with meds. I've been treated for over 20 years and have yet to get control of the bipolar part of my illness with medication.

This is very true - bipolar is, as an old friend of mine described once, "a piece of work". There is some issues psychologists/psychiatrists have been having with differentiating bipolar and ADHD, so I acknowledged the possibility that my old roommate was just bipolar with very ADHD-like symptoms, but there's also just as much of a likelihood that her diagnoses are correct.

I'm marveling about this incredible close up of a perfect vagina. It was more breathtaking than a rose garden I saw in my dream of paradise. It was like every daisy, rose, tulip, and lily and every beautiful landscape was in the western hemisphere condensed and shrunk so as to behold all the glory at once.

I should have saved the link but shall hold beautiful things in my heart.I'm sure it smells llike the garden of eden if such a place were to exist
I have bipolar too

Because both conditions are so damn frequently overdiagnosed and misdiagnosed even by the people who have complete understanding of what what both conditions are supposed to be characterized by (and even most people who are professional psychiatrists and psychologists simply do not have a complete understanding of what either condition supposed to be characterized by) that it is incredibly fucking stupid.

In fact, I may be completely wrong, but I think the entire way that we go about helping people with mental health issues is completely wrong. Why in the world would it be helpful to clump symptoms together that happen to occur simultaneously together frequently and then call it a "disorder" or a "disability" and then proceed to try to treat the so-called "disorder" or "disability" instead of simply trying to treat those symptoms which impede a person's ability to function in the world? WHHHHHHHY?! Is it an example of people being human and trying to simplify things and put things into boxes and think they completely understand the thing that is happening to another individual?

But if you are saying you see no reason that it could happen for someone who has bipolar disorder or ADHD or even both at the same time (a concept of something I'm not even sure can exist), then you are correct. There is no fucking reason. It is totally possible, just by my assessment of the situation, unfortunately, less likely than likely.

Okay, now for the post I got back on the forums with the intention of making.

Just an update on this incredibly frustrating stupid thing happening with me right now: It is now 2:30 here, and I do not have the ability right now to calculate how long that means I have been awake continuously, but considering how tired I am right now, I do not understand why it is still so hard for me to go to sleep.

I have so frequently had trouble sleeping before due to lots of things but mostly hyperactivity, but I don't think my hyperactivity has EVER been so severe before that it has EVER been THIS difficult to go the FUCK to sleep.

I will now sum up what is happening in my brain right now as best as I possibly can: "Derp, fail, fail, derp derpity, derp, EPIC FAIL, fail, derp" ... *continues forever with no conceivable end, until I actually go the FUCK to sleep* I am pretty sure that due to how tired I am right now, my brain is now only capable of derping and failing, with varying degrees of derp and fail.

Now I will again ask for some advice. Anyone who might be reading this who has been manic, or hyperactive, or had insomnia, or otherwise just COULD NOT sleep, what do you think I should do? The two options that I see are to continue to TRY to go to sleep, or just give up with the knowledge that there is only so long a human being can be awake continuously without at some point crashing.

Oh! Something just occurred to me! Should I take my morning meds now? I guess I should take them at some point. One of them is Vyvanse, though, and while this is meant to treat ADHD, it is supposed to help with the inattentive part of ADHD by stimulating the brain so that it can concentrate better, which is normally great for me since the problem I am usually happening if I am having a problem with my ADHD is with my ability to concentrate. However, I don't think I need to concentrate more right now, and since it is a stimulant, I think it might make my hyperactivity worse. I think that means I should take my other meds, but not the Vyvanse. Right?

Futile - You'll never sleep if you eat that vyvanse. Drink two beers and then watch massage videos. Done.

I'm not sure that does it justice. " Wicked motherfucker" is how I put it.

Okay, thank you Psykronic. I will not take the Vyvanse until what is happening right now is OVER. I do not have any beers to drink, and I do not trust myself in this state to go to the liquor store and get liquor without something potentially stupid or catastrophic happening in the process.

By "massage videos," do you mean porn that I like? Not sure if that is a good idea because porn helps me get off and having an orgasm might help me with my ability to go the FUCK to sleep, but watching porn also stimulates me in a way that might be counter to my goal of going the FUCK to sleep.
