What's everyone up to right now?

Taking bets with my coworker on how many others will show up to work today (potential freezing rain coming down, possibility of snow in surrounding areas).
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Talking myself into getting dressed and going to work. All the posts about cold weather coming spooked me. But checking the ten day forecast I don't find night time temps falling below 50 F. Last year I actually lost a couple plants and had well established ones killed to the ground. It'll be time to cover a couple things and move a couple pots indoors soon.

Just finished laying down some rubber horse pads and spreading the bedding. The barn and fence are done. Now, I'm waiting for the horses to arrive. Spent the first night at the new house today and I'm loving it.
This spring, I'm gonna start on some masonry work for the fire pit area, and get my recording studio started. I'm pumped right now. Edit: Spent the first night at the new house last night, not today, because, you know, making sense.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Horse trailer came at the same time as the cable guy. A minor predicament. Good news is I get Internet now so maybe not as many phone posts. I'll be able to convey my ideas with more lucidity.

Thanks, Rexbeccarox. It's made even more amazing in comparison to the last house. Back in the age of settlements, my township was a swamp and it never really relinquished those features. On top of that, the barn was separated from the house by 2 acres. This barn and the pasture is closer to the house than some garages. And it's not a crazy overgrown, muddy walk. This winter is gonna suck so much less.
Reno is very appreciative of her new (and I might say- improved *toot*) stall. Sparkle is still uneasy with the change, but she'll come down. She wouldn't stop weaving for a while there.
