If no one adopts him I will.

I'd be worried that a hardass like that would run off with my wife and kids.

I wouldn't be able to foster any more. As it is, if he gets adopted, I could help place more dogs in the future. If I adopt him, I wouldn't have any more room. My roommate has a Greyhound as well, so I already have three dogs with a foster. Couldn't do more.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Sadly - in this case - I'm not living in the USA. Otherwise I would be seriously tempted. In all seriousness, right now I don't feel I'm ready to adopt, since I've fallen on some hard times and couldn't even afford the vet's bills. My little girl died two years ago at the ripe age of 14, but I still miss her.

If my building allowed big dogs, I'd be real tempted.

I hate holidays as well. My mother gushes about Thanksgiving. Both the thankfulness and the fact we are sitting to a homecooked dinner.
Part of my spina bifida is stomach issues, so TG is hard on me. So much pressure to gorge.

Back in Florida, trying to adjust to the timezone. I hate traveling.

Haha. Try finding a vibrator in a Baptist town like Belton. They're sold out, of course, and if you ask an associate where to find one they'll tell you where to find Jesus.
No, my friend, you're going to have to order that on Amazon.

What kind of batteries does Jesus need?
