It's a lengthy interview with the new pope Francis.
The response from most of the MSM has been TLDR,
...so instead they go for the tabloid headline attention grabber.

Pope says God must accept atheists.
Pope thinks same sex marriage is OK
Pope agrees abortion is not so bad after all



And tons of weak-kneed catholics start to think it's the end of the church.
And all the predictable denomination bashing starts. (Any excuse will do)

Well, that already puts him far above his predecessors but after a paragraph or two of the interviewer kissing his holy ass I lost patience with it.

Stuff like this really makes me wonder if the pope's really believe. I have doubted it for a while,

Most people in the position of religious clergy do not so much believe as they are comfortable in their positional lifestyles.

Few leave that comfortable position.
