Hi guys.
I love forums in general since I really can't find people to talk deeply about anything in real life.
Been Atheist for a while but only accepted the label for a year or so.
I've been kind of jarred the last couple of weeks by horrifying ideologies (fundamentalist, racism.. etc) that I knew existed but did not know existed in such a prominent state.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Funny thing - I only became aware that some people see negative connotations to the word atheist on this forum.
I've always called myself an atheist with no qualms whatsoever.
