Drich, I have stated to the staff that I do not think what you said was a violation of the rules, but rest assured, it was a violation of human decency. I understand you intend to push the envelope, and you feel as if you are on a mission from god(cue the Blues Brothers). But that doesn't mean you have to be a total cunt about it. Remember that you have beliefs, that's it. You do not wield the truth; you merely believe you do. So, take a step back and try to understand how people will perceive what you say, and realize that good communication means not making dick statements that will cause a person to reel back in horror. Jesus will be awfully pissed if he has to send some souls to hell because you can't understand that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

If you truly feel that there statements made towards you that were a violation that you didn't bait them into saying, send them to me in a PM, and the staff will go over them.

No, not at all. Unless we're both abnormal. Thinking

I'll be the first to admit i have not appologized for anything yet, as i do not see a reason to appologize for anything.

Further more In my orginal post to you I was not discussing my need to appologize. you made a statement that i broke each and every rule of preaching. I returned to you a challage to show me where i broke even one rule.

So please no more red herrings. Show me what I asked to see. Or I ask that you appologise to me for accusing me of breaking all 6 of the preaching rules of this forum when in fact i did not.

He must have missed mine as well (and I'm almost certain we had a conversation about it not long ago). Twice I have been close to death - bilateral pulmonary embolism in October 2011, and bacterial pneumonia as a complication of influenza in January 2013, both documented in threads here that I wrote from my hospital bed (although there was little said about the most recent, I was too damn sick).

Number of times I prayed: zero.

He'll never admit it, but he is nonetheless quite mistaken.

It's ok, I don't want or expect an apology from Drich because I know he can't really understand what he's writing, or why it might be uncouth. He doesn't understand about how using a personal experience to disagree with someone else's personal experience is not nullifying a debate, it's advancing it. I don't think he's ever considered that his version of the 'truth' might be contextual only to him, and that just because he wanted to believe in god when he came near to death doesn't automatically mean that everyone else will do the same on their's (several people have contested this with their own personal experience, but there's been no reply). If fear he is actually unable to empathize, and most likely lacks that cognitive ability.

All I see from drich (all I've ever seen) is pride that he 's chosen the right path, and a smugness that he appears to be the only one.

S'all good :-)

He missed mine, too, but what more can we expect from someone that interprets the facts to fit his beliefs?

If god thought smugness was holy, Drich would be Jesus.

Not to put too much emphasis on personal experiences, but there was that time almost a year ago when I was a gnat's cock away from bleeding to death in a hospital bed. The only thing that went through my mind, other than a sense of relief at going where Sam had gone before, was the thought that I didn't want to get the pretty nurse who was monitoring me into trouble, so I pressed the emergency alert button. Had I not done so, I would definitely not be here typing this now.

Number of prayers= zero.

Oh, and it's 'cue' in this context. Smile
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Very well, since you have no capacity to assess your own words:

My father has terminal cancer, he's an atheist. Never once seen or heard him talk about any sort of god, whatever that is.
When the blackness consumes him, he will cry out maybe not to you, but to God. Rest assured every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
Here, you are threathing people with suffering for not conforming to your beliefs

- Fails to justify said threat with evidence.
Your bible is not evidence for the threat above.

- Is repetitive.
You already did this line of rethoric here.

- Directed at forum members, rather than a general description of beliefs.
Wll you deny that it was directed at Fidel? I know he didn't complain, but that does not make you less responsible.

- Uses negative connotations.
Hell, if saying "you will see on your deathbed!" ain't negative then I don't know what it is.

- Is not in response to a query regarding personal beliefs.
You were not asked what you think of Fidel or his father.
