If these resident theists really talk to god..

Generally, the ones who believe it most have read it the least. They are usually the same ones who buy the lies that the preachers sell them, mainly because it's easier to have an opinion if it comes pre-chewed.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I pointed out to you that there was no seeking and knocking in the parable.Again On the PAGE CHRIST THE ONE WHO TELLS THE PARABLE SAYS TO SEEK AND KNOCK!!!!! You can scream all you want, still does not change the fact that you are a liar. Yes I did notice that you did not challenge that claim via a good argument. Did you stamp your feet a lot as a kid? It says if you want to RECEIVE the holy spirit you must ask. Not seek or knock. Please show me where the seeking and knocking is needed in the receiving of the holy spirit. It also says on the page that if a son asks for ..... would you give him ..... as the father. Does this mean that if you are a father but your children are dead that you cannot receive the holy spirit? Is this relevant in receiving the the holy spirit? Remember IT IS ON THE PAGE. Does the son have to ask for bread, fish or egg for you to receive the holy spirit? Is this relevant in receiving the the holy spirit? Remember IT IS ON THE PAGE. What if you do not know how to give good gifts. Does this mean you cannot receive the holy spirit? Is this relevant in receiving the the holy spirit? Remember IT IS ON THE PAGE. I hope that I have shown that just because it is on the page does not automatically make it important to RECEIVE the holy spirit. What about your assertion that the parable is talking about a neighbour and not a friend. To me this is a clear indication that your comprehension skills are lacking or that you see things which are not there, you just want it to be there. Which is it a neighbour or a friend? Because of this your exegesis and subsequent argument is invalid. Inorder to discuss this any further with any legitmacy, you must invalidate the seeking and knocking that Christ mentions using the context of scripture. otherwise your argument is again dismissed, for being an incomplete representation of everything mentioned in this passage that Christ Himself explains.(September 24, 2013 at 6:17 pm)Drich Wrote: Again On the PAGE CHRIST THE ONE WHO TELLS THE PARABLE SAYS TO SEEK AND KNOCK!!!!! So you cannot show me where seeking and knocking is needed for god to give some of the holy spirit. I have already shown where seeking in the story is not finding. Parable has no seeking in the context of finding whether it's neighbour or friend. Just to let you know that asking a lot is NOT the same as knocking. Please tell me how many times must you ask for it to turn into a knock. Still no answer about neighbour or friend, which is it? Don't forget about the other questions I asked. No, One of you tried to say that I broke everysingle preaching rule you have, but can seem to get one to honestly stick to this situation.. And I still believe you broke the no preaching rule. 6/6 remember, and I backed it out with evidence in post #100. But I liked what you did there, poisoning the well. How very christian. |
