If I were to sit here and say that there are absolutely no gods whatsoever, I would need to offer evidence of my assertion.
However, I just say that I don't believe any gods exist. It's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it without having to prove it. I'll continue to not believe in any gods until someone can show evidence for theirs.
Do you believe in Bigfoot? Do you believe that someone has to show absolute proof that Bigfoot doesn't exist before saying they don't believe in him?

You are absolutely correct,
You cannot prove there is no God.
But if that is your opinion or belief, you are 100% entitled to it.
I have seen some people with big feet.
Does that count as Big Foot?

You're simply trying to shift the burden of proof like so many Christians before you have tried and failed. It's not up to me to believe in anything that someone can possibly imagine until I can prove otherwise, it's up to the person claiming something exists to prove it before I believe in it. I really don't get why it's so hard for Christians to understand this, unless they're just keeping their heads in the sand.

Actually I am trying to get atheists and agnostics to accept their burden of proof. Some in those camps are trying to escape their burden of proof.
I have already accepted mine.
That is coming in future topics.

You believe in fairy tales, pal. It is up to you to demonstrate that they are real.
Good fucking luck with that.

And the thing you are consistently failing to recognize is that atheists only have burden of proof when they are strong atheists. Agnostic atheists do not carry the burden you are claiming they do.

Why is it that atheists have a burden of proof for not believing in God, but Christians don't have a burden of proof for not believing in Bigfoot, aliens, the Loch Ness Monster, elves, fairies, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, etc? Nor do Christians seem to have a burden of proof for not believing in Thor, Odin, Zeus, Mithra, etc...

Simple. Once the truth is shown to be true (the Holy Bible) then the word of God can be used to establish all other truths.

Oh you know, because the devil made up those gods, as he said. And we can be certain that he is not in fact the one deceived by another religion's trickster deity and that it is in fact the devil that has tricked them because he has absolute faith in his god. And we should trust his absolute faith in god and have absolute faith in god because the bible says to do so. And we know that the bible is true because it is the word of god, as it claims to be. And we can trust this claim because god is infallible. And we can trust that he is infallible because the bible says so.
You know how it goes.
