Here's the thing.

If you believe, based on biblical accounts that the earth is 6,000 years old then I presume you believe the universe is of similar age.

So - how can we see Andromeda?

If the universe is only 6,000 years old the light from Andromeda shouldn't reach us for another 1,494,000 years, give or take a few.

They just claim that God created the universe with the light already enroute to us. That, or else they claim that light was faster 6,000 years ago than it is now, and in one particularly strange case they claim that light doesn't travel at all, but just is.

Fair point Min but I just work on the basis that if we provide enough information then eventually in some of the cases the data seeps through and they realize the untenable nature of their position.

If we did this together, of course we could provide the Max and Min positions.

People who were formerly YECs often come to accept evolution when they've been exposed to enough evidence. However, it happens slowly, over time, in small increments. It's not something you can see happening before your eyes.
