Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
RE: Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
That timeline is a good extrapolation based on our current best theories, but it is a bit speculative towards the end... We need to learn more about the nature of dark energy to be sure that accelerated expansion will truly go on forever. If it is like einsteins cosmological constant it will, but maybe it isn't.We need to learn more about particle physics to know whether e.g. the higgs vacuum is long time stable or whether it will catastrophically decay into a different state. We don't *really* know for sure that protons decay.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Or any method that is not insane or absurd. If someone can speak or write authoritatively on things not known, then they were able to verify these things in some manner. Otherwise they made it up. And if you cannot verify their claims nor verify the manner in which they determined their claims to be true, you have no way of knowing if they are made up or not.

"Wanting it to be true" is not a reliable method of verification for the validity of a claim.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

If you can't detect god through your senses, and the only thing you have to determine anything about him is a book someone claims is inspired by him, then you have no evidence, are unjustified in your claims, and are doing what we call "believing something outlandish written in a book." Despite how you privilege this, it's no different from believing Harry Potter is using text to convey shit to a person's spirit.

The fact that you believe what's in a book isn't compelling evidence of the existence of a thing. I know your gullibility is impressive to you, but not to the rest of us.

didn't post it was compelling evidence, but i'm sure everyone but you is entirely impress because when they did the thought experiment, it obvious that God wouldn't reveal himself directly thru the 5 senses.

Translation: I know it's not evidence, but nyah nyah, I'm right anyway. Rolleyes

And again, just demanding that something is "obvious" doesn't make it so, and in fact completely misses my point: you say god doesn't reveal himself through the senses. Fine. The senses are all we have to experience the world, and therefore you're saying god doesn't reveal himself, so you have an unjustified, irrational position. Dodgy

The contents of the book are just a story. They never happened for real.
