Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.

So in other words, in some other study (not mentioned) under special circumstances you get a different measurement. Nowhere does it state that this is the standard measurement.

They measure it in different solutions because depending on the cells, you get different solutions. So they wanted to know how the much DNA twisted.

Which solution did the original measurement use? I couldn't find it. Did you read the original papers? Here is a nice quote from one of them.

Quote:We have assumed an angle of 36 degrees between adjacent residues in the same chain, so that the structure repeats after 10 residues on each chain, that is, after 34 A.
One measurement was done to get a diameter of 20 A.

Here is a link that shows that DNA shape depends on what environment it is in. The examples have DNA widths ranging from 25.5A, 23.7A, and 18.4A. Where 23.7A width is the MOST COMMON.

Ok muppet, let me stop you here, remember when you said, and I quote..

If you consider information from 1953 obsolete, then why are you posting articles from 1953?

Your continued arguments along this thoroughly discredited line of reasoning (one which you helped to discredit) deserves no respect.

Wait..you're getting on someone else for sourcing when you posted information from a lone high school teacher in Serbia with an irrelevant degree that isn't peer-reviewed or validated in any way?

Are you for real?

Which you so helpfully corrected me upon...thereby destroying your own argument. Please, quote away.

No you fool, he said my info was obsolete because it was from 1953, yet he posts info from 1953..

how can you not see the contradiction?

Just going to assume you concede your information source is useless.

Ok blockhead, let me introduce you to a concept of original work to follow-up work. The original came up with the idea and did a measurement. The follow-up did a better measurement and tries to remove at least one assumption. I don't consider 1953 work obsolete. It was the first to provide an explanation for general structure of DNA. I consider their measurement not as accurate compared to the new ones. Hence, I use the new measurement not the original.

Me laughing at your claim is not me laughing at you. You immediately jump to the conclusion that I was laughing at you, hence insulting you. Then you proceeded with your ad-hominem attacks. I ignored them at first, but now my respect for you is gone, blockhead.

I'm learning many new things here lately. Apparently all information from 1953 is untrue because a forum member said a specific piece of information from 1953 is inaccurate.

And also that you can take the average of two claims made by forum members and build a case for the excistence of god on that.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this magic place. You guys must be fucking special.
