Well islam have always had this view of women, when they say respect and equality you can never be sure if they mean it in the normal sense or the islamic sense.

I know many Muslim men who would never treat their wives that way. I know many Muslim women who wouldn't allow their husbands to treat them that way. My Brother-In-Law is a Muslim and just the thought of him thinking like that is laughable. Just wouldn't happen. He's such a softie. Well I know many who would. All muslim men I know would never marry a nonmuslim anyway, either convert or it's a no deal. I do come from a muslim country though, but even after I left I've never met any that's changed my mind.

Well, my bro-in-law moved here from Bangladesh about 6 or 7 years ago to study. His father used to work for the British High Commission in Dhaka, and I get the impression that he was raised with a very romanticised idea of what Britain was like. He's told me before that he always wanted to marry "an English girl who wears jeans and things" when he grew up. He's very strange, in the best ways. lol

As for the bad kind, I am fortunate enough not to know any myself (I don't think they tend to mix with non-muslims anyway) but I've heard of them on TV and through people at work who have the misfortune to be related to some of those cunts. Where I live, they seem to be the minority, though. I think where I live has done a good job of the multiculturalism thing. Everyone seems to mix with all different cultures and stuff, and I haven't really seen that in many other places.

But yeah, my point is really that not all Muslims are psychopathic cunts like Sleepy, here. It's totally possible to be a Muslim without being a cunt at the same time. A lot of my favourite people in my life are Muslims. The normal ones are no worse than normal Christians are here.

We really should not be this surprised when a Muslim shows up and starts acting like a Muslim (or a Christian acts like a Christian). They are both murderous and terrifying belief systems. We're just used to people who don't take those belief systems seriously. It's kind of off-putting when someone does.

Yea of course it's possible. I have very close muslim friends but they're girls and definitely the minority. I think where they congregate has a big part to do with it, given the ideology they cling to they're unlikely to mix with nonmuslims. I know a lot of crazy and bad types. Way too many. It's usually through a muslim girl who eventually tells me about the crazy ones she knows/is related to. I've heard so many cases of domestic abuse I don't even know where to start.

I think it's the upbringing that matters, you don't get this level of crazy without intensive indoctrination since childhood. It's a lot harder to indoctrinate when your child goes to school and all their friends do not think being attractive is something to be ashamed of. Or that women have to be subservient to men.

I think Islam will be very watered down in the west in the next few decades and they'll just be like christianity. antigay, antiabortion, the usual.
