If all of your moms, sisters( assuming you don't have Muslim family that do so already ) wore the hijab. Not the burqa but just the hijab there lives would change for the better. This is certainly documented but differs quite significantly from the examples of Afghanistan. The US did offer material and intelligence support to Iraq throughout the 1980s, the difference being that they ceased this support by the time of the first gulf because Hussein had essentially stopped playing ball.
