No. You follow a religion that condones slavery. It's a slap in the face to me. I'd rather not discuss that as that's not the reason why I joined this forums. Neither. I spend most of my time on the shoutbox- hence the 12 posts. If I feel something is important enough, I'll probably make a thread about it. If there's something on my mind that I wish to discuss with peers, I'll just post it in the shoutbox. I do have a strong hate for christians. One reason being they knowingly(or unknowingly) support slavery(which is justified in the bible). I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone(except the admins, of course) The fact that my loyalty for atheism was questioned is insulting. If you read my intro you'd understand that I am in fact one.

Atheism doesn't require any loyalty. If you don't believe in any god or God, you're an atheist, full-stop. If not, not. And we don't necessarily agree about ANYTHING else.

For example, I don't hate Christians. I find most of them to be decent folk. But you can hate anyone you want (even atheists!) and your loyalty to atheism won't enter into it.

You should read everything I said to acquire a full understanding of what I'm trying so desperately to present. I don't know why god focused his time on me. I'm not any more important than the guy with aids or the serial killer who everyone wants to lynch. That's the difference between me and you. You believe your god has special plans for you, and that only you matter. Why can't he have special plans for everyone? The child rapist who gets to live off into his late 80's goes unharmed with no deadly disease for his entire life, yet a little boy is born and god has predetermined that he die of cancer at the age of 2. I could throw insults at you, but you're a christian on an atheists forums admitting you received word from god that you should "save" me. I think you insult yourself just coming here. I'm doing well for myself and I love my life. I'm able to posses the exact same morals you christians claim to have, as an atheist. I occasionally give to the poor, I've donated hundreds of dollars to the red cross, donated clothes to the salvation army, etc. Unlike the majority of your jesus freak buddies who sit around and pray, I actually try to make a difference in the world, even if it's a couple dollars or hand me down clothing every now and then. I may come off as a narcissist. Excuse that. I suppose that's what you get when you try to rationalize with an irrational. I'm not going to go back and forth with you, because I know you won't change your mind. Hell, I'm not trying to make you change your mind. Eat your cake.
