helping my partner overcome Catholic guilt

RE: helping my partner overcome Catholic guilt
I'm not sure if there are forms of psychotherapy which could help with his issues .. which I assume come down to guilt around receiving (and therefore giving) pleasure. He is lucky to have such an understanding and loving partner. However I worry about the long term health of your relationship if he doesn't get this together. Will you always be okay with it being an issue even after the hormonally supported romantic phase fades? I've heard it said that everyone has problems but it is important for a relationship to be with someone whose problems you find interesting or at least respect. If your concept of being in a committed relationship boils down to having sex with just one person, as callous as it sounds to say, I wonder if you shouldn't wait to see how this works out .. for your own sake?

Jesus, no wonder Min hates the church so much. Holy rollers with a whip. I'd hate them too.

This is one reason I hate the Catholic church so much. Guys who are supposed to be celibate telling people to not have sex unless they're married, and then with no form of birth control. Even masturbation is considered a sin in the church.

Funny how God gave us sex organs to enjoy, but we're not supposed to enjoy them. The worse part is when you're a teenager right after puberty your hormones are going crazy, but this is the time you're not supposed to ever have sex or masturbate. And if you do, you have to go into a little box and tell a priest about it.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Yeah, I'm sure the priest would really like to help you out too.
