Well you seem pretty certain which virtues make a good christian and which attributes make a bad non-christian, like, you're pretty confident that queers and atheists are evil-doers etc. So, given that you can clearly afford to waste time coming on message boards and talk complete diarrhoea, why not quickly read a wikipedia entry or two on the guy and check out a couple of youtube videos and give us a preliminary decision on how christian/un-christian you think the cunt was?

Interestingly, the context shows that the Psalmist is reveling in the future misfortune of Babylon, the just retribution it will face for having harmed the people of god. Which is to say, it's a lot like celebrating the death of a scumbag televangelist.

I struggle to envisage any context in which it is legitimate to take infants, living and breathing, walking and playing, being smashed to fucking pieces. A 'just' retaliation this would not be, marely simple revenge. How often the bible treats revenge and justice as interchangeable terms.

Besides, even if you, Lion, don't personally rejoice at the thought of atheists and others being damned, you can't deny believing that we deserve it for not believing your religion's claims. After all, who can argue with Yahweh's will, right?
It's just a shame you Christians are so piss-poor at providing anything like a good reason to believe.
