Fundies got no sense of literary genre. I'm pretty sure that the author of Jonah intended it as a fable rather than miraculous history. But it got stuck in that book with the black covers.

If you have enough faith and nothing happens, you didn't believe hard enough. If you have faith and belief and were really A/S/King and nothing still happens, well then Jehovah obviously has some other mysterious plan for you, and who are we to question Jehovah?
