I think Darkmatter2525 did a video on how people connect their deity with themselves, which is why many christians take it personally when you say you don't believe. You're either a heretic, or not a "true" christian at all.

He is a slave to his inner monologue (which he confuses to be some sort of undefined deity, whatever that is), which means the answer is terrifyingly yes or 'god wouldn't ask me to do that'.
