Not to put too fine a point on it, but if you want to be comforted by an imaginary being, I'm sure we could all recommend plenty of fantasy novels you could read to get your mind off things.
...or you could find real people who are prepared to do the same: family, friends, lovers, therapists, mentors.

Assuming God exists, this still wouldn't be surprising. After all, even Peter failed to keep on the water in the Bible (he. managed it intially). So technically this should say that he attempted to be the 3rd person in history to manage this.
