If everyone does this, then we can have "Justice and Peace."
You need to read the infancy of Thomas you will be saying the exact opposite because your god boy killed kids.

I was forced to counteract just such rubbish when my son says at the dining room table, "papa, we didn't pray to jesus [for the food]."

My point: Halfwits, if you want to worship a dead jew, go ahead, but please stay the fuck away from my family.
You are indoctrinating your son, to be an atheist with your unfettered hate for religion. You demonstrated your indoctrination by failing to tell both sides of the story, that Jesus is said to have risen again, and is not dead.

Yeah, I can't imagine where anyone would be exposed to the Jesus story in America. That's so uncommon there!
Tone down the rhetoric for a bit, eh?

My rhetoric? Give me a break. Plenty of people are unaware of the Jesus story, especially young kids with atheists parents, who call Christians "christards", and assert that Jesus is dead, all the while claiming not to " force any of my own spiritual beliefs on my 5 year old son". Puleeease. How about you tone down the hypocrisy.

And its probably for the best that those who do not know the jesus story never get to learn about it ever.

Ah, I see: you've mistaken reasserting your initial claim for a rebuttal of the simple fact that the assertion was unjustified the first time around. How... typical, for people like you.

What hypocrisy would that be? When did I even tell you my position on religion and parenting? Oh, that's right, I didn't, you presumptuous ass.

One would have to teach them all to be fair...
From the Sumerian pantheon, to the Egyptian pharaohs... From tribal animism, to celt druidism... From Jews, to Inca.

Ah, the false dichotomy. You're on my hitlist you know FD. Along with your fancy higher order friends. You'll certainly be "in two parts" by the time I'm done.
How about the parent teaches the kid how to think, how to learn, and then shows them where they can find out as much information as they want about whatever religions they want. If your religion really is "true" then they don't need coercing into believing it, now do they? I was never taught to "be an atheist", ever.

In other words, you do indoctrinate your children and do not allow anybody with differing ideas to relate those ideas to your children.

You are word bending Lek, bad lek bad. He is saying he is not indoctrinating his son and he doesn't want others to indoctrinate his child either. Religion is a adult thing and nothing for a child to believe in at such a young at because the concept of hell is damaging to a child so why teach them about religion when they are young. I say let the child grow up and figure stuff out on his or her own without having to push it on them so young.
