Well, having known so many christians and how they think, I for one do appreciate the effort and the pseudo apology from DRICH. I know he has good intentions with the move.
Self enlightenment unfortunately takes time and it comes from many forces, this time it came from a nudge from his wife, maybe next time he will realize that we aren't dogs.
His imaginary god has told him that mankind is as worthless as worms, to grovel and eat dirt, so it is easy for him to see us as unworthy of respect.

I'm trying real hard over stew, but your not making it easy..
Maybe if you knew the definition of the offending term, you could then avoid doing things that might make you appear....

Definition 2 possibly 5 as well may apply.
Darkness= uncertainty about God, salvation, or the bible.
You are in the dark, because you do not know the God of the bible. You know your own personal version of God that you can disprove in some way.

@ Drich,
I'm new here so you prolly haven't offended me in the past, but I must say, the openness with which you present the goings on in your mind and your family here really is quite something. It almost lets one forget that you are offering some pure nopologies, because at the same time the effort seems so sincere

My memory is too short to stay offended. You're always as good as your last post with me.
Your wife sounds like a smart cookie. Any chance you could get her to post here occasionally?

Your wife reminds me of my sister. It also reminds me of the way I thought when I was a theist. She should join.
Mrs. Drich: If you are reading this, I invite you to consider joining AF. You'll be surprised with the things that your hubby says.

I can't say I'm sorry for something I don't think is wrong. Hence the nopology approach, however I can agree that my behavior right or wrong is not consistant with what my stated purpose is here. Therefore I can admit to doing things or saying things that conflict with my purpose, and can pledge to try and minimize my involvement in this type of future behavior.
As far as being sincere, nothing I've said here, isn't anything I haven't felt, experienced, witnessed or endured in my life unless otherwise stated. I know I have made some fantastic claims over the years, but even so my reporting on what I have witnessed or endured is as accurate as my memory will allow it. Why, because it is the truth, and that truth lends itself to the existence and envoy meet of God in my life. This same truth is offered to all of you as well.
This truth is also the reason I am open because I have nothing to hide. I walk the path I speak about. That said there are aspects of my life I do not speak about because they involve other people who do not want or should not be made known in a public forum. To those thing and those people I will not discuss unless the other people involved think it is ok to talk about.

Tell your wife that you've been here long enough that everyone just expects you to be a cunt at this point.

You're probably right, Ivy. I bet Drippy doesn't get to open his mouth around the house.
