Looks like Violet'll have more competition this year for the Members awards. And btw, atheism isn't a religion. It's simply a lack of belief in god(s).

A person could agree or disagree with those theories and be an atheist.

The only requirement to being an atheist is not believing in god or gods.

No religion is perfect. Every so often, someone stands up against the oppressive society of their day, and says "Hey, this isn't right. We need to change things. Be better to each other."

The successful ones get a bunch of followers who pervert and dogmatize their attempts, hold them up as a god, or form of god, and then go back to being a-holes.

Buddha, at least, implored his followers not to write down anything he said, for fear it would form a religion, and loose the message.

If you look at popular folk Buddhism, that's true.
