What's your poison?
#11
RE: What's your poison?
For a special occaision - I love a good single malt scotch. My favorite so far (and this changes nearly every time I buy something expensive) is the Balvenie Doublewood. Amazing blend of bourbon notes with sherry flavors. The bouquet is amazing.

For a daily drinker, I'm a bourbon man. My favorite is Blanton's. Or Eagle Rare.

I am also a beer snob. I love a good IPA, and I judge a brewery on how good their IPA is.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

The double wood is a nice dram.

If you liked that, you'd love the balvenie 15. Try it. It'd like a warm hug.

I really don't need the encouragement. There's a HOT Irishman I know who lives in Portland, which has some amazing gardens as well.

I've come to the conclusion that what is usually considered good beer in my home country of germany, or belgian beers, or british ales and american microbrews are simply different kinds of drink not to be compared, who incidentally share the name "beer". I love me either of them and wouldn't want to limit myself to one or the other. I'm going to England next week, so it's IPA time!Cool Shades

I thought so too when I was younger. Then I realized it was because the people around me were drinking shitty beer.
