Racist Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s legal case is costing Arizona taxpayers millions of dollars

On Tuesday, the Stamford Advocate reported that lawyers in the case against Arpaio are seeking $5.9 million in legal fees and expenses for pursuing contempt of court charges against the sheriff. The Stamford Advocate noted that if granted, the request would mark the second time a court gave the attorneys such a monetary award, the lawyers having received almost $4.5 million last year for bringing the racial profiling case against Arpaio to trial.

This must be an example of that "fiscal conservatism" we keep hearing about from the scumbags.

I despise him as much as you do, but I don't think he meant it like that. That's too extreme even for him. I think he meant, if they want to use public bathroom, they should head to the "right" one corresponding to their "original" gender.

A reporter sought clarification on the remark: “So then they shouldn’t use the bathroom out in public?”

Cruz then confirmed just that. “You don’t have a right to intrude upon the rights of others because whether or not a man believes he’s a woman, there are a lot of women who would like to be able to use a public restroom in peace without having a man there — and when there are children involved, you don’t have a right to impose your lifestyle on others.”
