The reference also seems appropriate for their apparent motto, "never give up, never surrender". They've lost this struggle, the whole gay-bashing thing. It worked disgustingly well for them 10 years ago but society has evolved and it aint going back. They'd do well to get over it and find a new favorite obsession or a new vulnerable group to demonize and bully.
