I have one time and never again.

My guess is that involved two people who didn't take sensible precautions. Condoms, enemas and showers can be your friends. Big Grin

I'm pretty sure we have enough people that we don't have to worry about keeping the species alive, even if people that actually made babies were in the minority. I mean if you want to be against it, fine. I just can't see a good reason for it. "It's icky" is not a good reason beyond whether or not you do it in your personal life.

The population being large is only important as long as our tech is even close to being on the same level as other peoples. Do I have memories of bulrathi and sakkra throwing their people at other empires in a desperate attempt to take them down? Why yes... yes I do.

Hard to properly blitz with them in a huge galaxy, though.

At least you're consistant.

But it brings up questions about lesbians or gay men who don't have anal sex (and I've known quite a few who don't). Do they suddenly become more acceptable?

I'll tell ya' what this reminds me of is these gay guys who, upon thinking about sex with a woman are all "Ew! Vagina! That's gross!" And I guess I can excuse them for having their own preferences, but I don't start calling them jerks until they start projecting those personal feelings onto others.

So, am I ok with people in Arizona being able to deny services to people just for being gay? Well, first off, didn't a lot of places in the South have policies like that back prior to the 60's? They didn't serve black people? How well did that work out for them? Anyway, I'm not really comfortable with it, but as long as I can deny services to people because they're straight, I guess I can't complain too much.

And Arizona has a large Mormon population, many of them are the kinds of fringe, extreme Mormons that Utah rejected, so I kinda suspect they have a lot of power. I think those people are afraid of this bill because they can easily see it being used to deny services to Mormons (who are still a fringe church according to mainstream Christianity) or polygamists (many of which are in Arizona Mormon groups).

It's called discrimination. And no, none of the supporters could cite a single instance of it happening in Arizona.

Time to realize that this was nothing more than a sop thrown to the jesus freak base of one particular party.

Always shit a brick when Windows installs an "update" and tells you it is "re-configuring."

I hear you on that. I dual-boot linux and windows. When Linux updates, I don't worry - it's already done in a few seconds.

Every time windows updates though, I seriously start to worry. And don't get me started about graphics driver upgrades – ugh. Pain. Every time.

A top of the line solid-state drive and it is still dog slow. That shouldn't even be possible. I'd upgrade to Windows 8... if I was retarded.

And now, Arizona.

They will shit a brick here if this is struck down.

Not if she is already married you won't. Marriage equality won't exist until polygamous marriages are legally recognized.

That would be a logistical nightmare. It just isn't practical.
