I say "bless you." It's a custom, like covering my mouth when I yawn. I'm not doing it because I'm afraid a demon will enter through my mouth, after all.
The irony is that JWs don't say "bless you" when someone sneezes because they see it as a superstitious act. So when I was a believer in god I never said it, and now that I'm an atheist I do.

I always found it amusing that it's been scientifically proven that yawning is contagious.

That's a bit too long though?
It depends on the length of the sneeze.
A short one could simply warrant a, "bugger me!"

In Poland we actually say "Cheers" when someone sneezes, so it doesn't have any religious context

I was just glancing through Wiki one day and I switch between gesundheit and my new favorite, prosit, the danish way to say "to your health".

My wife always says, "God bless you" to me, so I always feel obligated to say it when she sneezes. The thing is she has severe allergies and often goes into sneezing fits. I learned very early on to wait for that last sneeze before I say anything. One time she had a fit in public, and this lady kept saying, "bless you" with every one and gave me weird glances like I was an asshole for not saying it.
I hate stupid cultural obligations.

I hate stupid cultural obligations. I usually say something on the first one or two, then joke about how they're over their quota if they hit more than three. It's polite, without getting redundant.
