I dont have an issue with agnostics, you seem to have more of a problem, reading what I write and responding to it. I said originally that I find something dishonest about people who claim agnosticism when asked about beliefs because agnosticism deals with knowledge, I never said anything about people calling themselves agnostic in nregards to knowledge, so I have no idea what you think you're trying to prove tbh. You seem to just be arguing for the sake of it. Arguing points we both agree on ffs.

Umm .. bite me. Or you could look at how what you've written invites the way I've responded. Of course I'd expect that from someone interested in personal growth, not from someone convinced that they already have all the answers.
You should understand that this is an open forums. Anything you write may be responded to by any member here. If my posts upset you so much you might make use of the ignore function. Then you won't have to respond to them because you won't see them. That will save me the bother of attempting to reason with someone so defensive.

There is a solid definition for the term, but I only know two Agnostics in my offline life, and they describe what it means to them, a little differently than I do. I consider it to be that no one knows if there is a god or not, and I don't need to know. I'm not thirsting for knowledge to know, either way. I reject all past and present religions' notions of a god, as well.
Curious, how you define it for yourself?

I think we all agree more than we disagree but I've come away from this thread having better clarity as to atheism, even though my OP is about agnostcism.

I consider myself an "agnostic atheist", which (for me) translates to I have no knowledge of god, and I will most likely never know if one exists or not. At present, I lack a belief in any god. Get me proof, and I'm all ears. For now, I have no idea, and I have no belief.
It's pretty much "I lack knowledge of deities" (a - gnostic)
"I lack belief in deities" (a-theist)
