Scrapple is only the most delicious use of pork scraps and offal that the world has ever known. Parts is parts.
This brought a tear to my eye. :`-(
Ode to Scrapple - by Dave Bonta
Sing scrapple: buckwheat-
& cornmeal mush-stuffed
relative of head cheese,
the hog’s gray matter.
Plus every part
that couldn’t be cured
into ham or crammed
into sausage casings —
some good foot meat, perhaps,
a corkscrew piece of tail —
up to & including
the oleaginous grunt.
Always the butt of jokes
for the ignorant mass
of weiner-eaters who prefer
their pig scraps pink
& prefitted for the throat.
This is a square meal
the color of earth.
It’s what’s for supper
when you haven’t eaten
since breakfast, & want
something you can
slap in the hot
fat of a griddle & fry
until it grows a thick
brown skin. Then
serve with Grade-A
maple syrup, go hog-
wild, wallow in the gray
& gritty mush.
"Oleaginous grunt", that's some funny shit right there. that is. if i ever eat it, i will have to bow my head and chant this poem, prior to.

Ok. THIS, sounds really good. I'm going to try this. Peach preserves, is that like jam?

Yes it is.
The nutmeg and cinnamon make the eggs a less appetizing brown color if mixed in too well. For better appearance it should be lightly marbled in. But if you're just cooking for yourself and you're not too picky, it doesn't matter.

Runny yolk always. With a steak or gammon. Really don't like hard boiled much.

I can't stand eggs. You can make eggs... out of tofu? I would think this is some kind of sorcery, except I know that tofu can be used to simulate chicken as well.

You basically, get rid of most of the water in the Tofu, "scramble" it with a fork or your (clean) fingers and cook it in a frying pan with a little oil, turmeric, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, a dash of soy sauce and whatever else you fancy throwing in there. There are so many recipes out there for tofu scrambles. My sister swears mine tastes like eggs, but I know it doesn't because if it did I wouldn't eat it, but it does look like a bit like eggs.
Here's a basic one I found a pic of so you can see what I mean.

The night before St. Patrick's day Mrs. V put a corned beef brisket and potatoes in the crock pot, then in the morning chopped it up, fried it in butter to make hash, and topped it with over easy eggs. Quite delicious.

Every time I make tofu, it ends up sucking. May I ask what brand you recommend? I like tofu stir fries, but I can't seem to get it right or something.

I don't care for cornbeef, but this sounds yum!
Well, looks like my idea of eggs IS boring. I will give some of these dishes a try.
Oh, one thing to mention. I have taken the scrambled eggs and veggie combo and placed it in a wheat wrap. Or wheat pita pocket. That's pretty good.
