I know a few kids that grew up without a male figure in the house and they were certainly effeminate, and I didn't have a problem with them. But there are some gay guys that are just way over the top with it, and it just doesn't seem like it is a completely natural behavior. I'm fine if your gay, I'm fine if your effeminate, but when I get 100% stereotype gay guy it just seems like it's too much. If you wanna suck a dick, whatever I'm cool with it, but suck it like a man.
Yep, that may be exactly your opinion.

What is wrong with it is that it should never be a fundamentally bad thing to be "feminine" instead of "masculine". In a perfect world, that would not be the case.

I don't think it's bad to be feminine, it's just bothersome to me when someone is way over the top with it. And it's not because being really, really feminine is bad either, but when someone acts like that I have a hard time believing that it is being done as a completely natural action of their behavior. Maybe being that over the top with it is their natural behavior in which case again, whatever man, do what you want.

I just find it bothersome in the same way a guy can be overly masculine too, and just constantly does all the typical, stereotypical heterosexual male shit. At a certain point I think, "Alright dude, are you really this masculine or are you just putting on a show for everyone." Same with an Irish person that wears green all the time, talks about Irish shit, and get's mad if everyone at the table doesn't drink Guinness and Irish car bombs. It's not because of the masculinity or because someone's Irish. It's out of annoyance of this one particular brand of person shoving their image down my throat. I get it you're gay, I get it you're a man, I get it you're Irish...now can you please shut the fuck up about it for a moment?

Who the fuck are you? Seriously, there is something unsettling about people that have a problem with femininity in men. You are not the god of human characteristics and a lisp or feminine flare does absolutely nothing to you or anyone else. So deal with it.

Gay men - suck however the fuck you want.

Eh, fuck off. Who the fuck are you anyways? I do deal with it, I'm not raving in the streets at every gay man I see so don't get pissy with me. It's not really a problem to me, just an opinion. If you don't like the opinion, follow your own advice and deal with it. The hypocrisy...seriously.

Your opinion is stupid and I deal with it by telling you it is stupid. I feel better already. Smile

As someone who is somewhere between femininity and masculinity, by no means androgynous, I find that the overly masculine behavior of men does bother me. Which is strange, because the precise opposite of overly feminine characteristics in men does not bother me in the least. Also, any behavior of women is not something that irks me either. It is only the purely testosterone driven male that bothers me. I am uncertain why, but it probably might have something to do with the fact that I am gay.

These are pretty much my sentiments summed up. Put in much better words than I ever could.
