In my christianity I was told that anything can be forgiven as long as you are sincere when asking for it.
So Alex must completely kneel down and obey his masters. Submit totally. Become a slave.

I would guess standard 'merican evangelical, I think hir proposal is too Christ-centered for Catholic. With Catholics, you usually only have to do hail marys and wire some money to receive forgiveness.
