I'll drink some of my special malt for ya.

Cheers Steel,
I've been wrestling with a weird combination of symptoms for a number of years, the Doc told me on Monday I have Dercum's disease. I'll wallow tonight then get a grip of myself tomorrow. I just need a night to let go and say fuck it.
I like the look of your whisky, I have a nice bottle of Cardhu Gold Reserve for when the Glenlivet runs out. I've already cracked the seal and had a little taster, it's glorious. I do love a warming Spayside Whisky, I find them very comforting.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

I could actually use a good drink right now: my shoulders and neck have been spasming for about three days and my massage this afternoon barely cut the pain and I can't find my muscle relaxers.
Sometimes it sucks that I don't keep liquor in the house.

Dercum's Disease does not sound fun. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Drink well, my man.

But it's the wee small hours of Saturday and I have a bottle of Glenlivet 12 year old single malt and a lead crystal glass to drink it from plus the love and scorn from all my nearest and weirdest on AF.
I'm going to get shit-faced and play along with the solo on Comfortably Numb on my Fender Showmaster Blackout - basswood body and maple neck, all black lacquer finish, with a rosewood fret board, all black hardware, locking tuners, a floating bridge, and two Seymour Duncan pickups, a '59 Reverse Polarity Humbucker in the bridge and a Pearly Gates Plus Humbucker in the neck - pure Fender porn.
Hold your lighters up for me tonight. I could use the support.

Decided I wanted pizza for dinner so I bought beer, too. Hefeweizen. It's yummy. Hefeweizen and pain pills.
