Dear Atheist Friend,
I want to let you know that I will not be replying to any posts from Good Friday to Resurrection Sunday for obvious reasons. I am planning on presenting on new threads, one at a time, what I will refer to as "The Seven Arguments." If my atheist friends answer each argument convincingly and satisfactory, then I will voluntarily and permanently leave this board. I am hoping the the discussion over seven arguments can be cordial, respectful, void of foul language and name calling. In the meantime, I would like to thank everyone on this board for your perspectives and sharing your views. I also am thankful for allowing a Christian like me to be here in the first place. I especially would like to thank: Esquilax, Stimbo, Minimalist, Aral Gamelon, Angry Cloud Face, Steel Curtain, Tonus, Deidre32, Chas, Kitanatos, Beccs, Brian37, Tartarus Sauce, DarkHorse, whateverist, faithnomore, and to anyone I have forgotten. How about you just list all seven in one thread, that way when you leave we don't have seven meaningless threads. Why is this such a thing with theists? Where they feel like each of their arguments is sooooooo fantasmically awesome that it needs its own thread? Watch me not give a fuck.

I hate formal greetings outside formal settings, it really creeps me out. "Dear Atheist friend", or when they sing their name a the bottom "Sincerely....JoeJebusfan" or "Respectfully JoeJebusfan".
You are not fucking applying to a college or a job. When people do this outside a formal setting they sound like fucking stalker. Kinda like that silent guy that calls everyone "sir", then the next thing you hear is a clip on the news about them "He seemed like such a nice guy, never saw that coming".
Drop the salutations please theists, seriously, you are not applying to be the manager of a 5 star hotel here.

Maybe I just refuted my proposal.
Your mind comes from something with qualia because it had to. This is similar to the anthropic principle in the fine tuning argument.
However, if there were undifferentiated, protoexperiential qualities at a very basic level of organization, then there would be far more "undifferentiated" minds than "differentiated" minds. Therefore, it would be exceedingly unlikely that your mind would be such an extensively differentiated mind.

I think what will happen is that we will lose conscious and that's it. I would like to believe that we can go on after our conscious is gone, but that's not how the universe works. We should all just make the life we have now better by doing what we can now, instead of waiting until we can't do so anymore.
