What's wrong about that? It's been done all over the planet!

people find the answer of this complicated universe in god. but if god created this universe then he should be far more complicated so who created him?? Dude with the camera?Big Grin

Lol - Exactly right. It's absolutely hit the floor funny when a Christian brings up the idea that god need not be created when they will claim that the universe absolutely must, it's the most clear cut case of special pleading i've ever encountered.

The two best arguments are "first cause" and "design/designer." Once you can get past those you are on your way to becoming godless.

They are both walls of sticks, you need only put a little weight on them and they topple down.

Please explain.

Surely this is like saying you 100% know that God doesn't exist?

Absolutely not, if you read it clearly from Ledo's post you would know i was talking about two arguments for the existence of God being clearly fallacious and easy to destroy, that is not proving God doesn't exist, it is proving that two particular arguments for the existence of god are false.

..which equates to the same thing in my opinion... so can you explain how you can dismiss those two arguments so I can see?

In my opinion stating that the biblical god is the prime mover or first cause of all things is in itself something that is beyond our knowledge. In fact like I stated in another thread to state this as truth basing yourself on a book supposedly inspired by god, and written by fallible men is completely illogical and presents several new obstacles to overcome.

You can't prove that this god revealed himself to anyone outside of the biblical texts. Archaeology does not support many of the stories told in the scriptures, science cannot completely refute something that allegedly happened thousands of years ago. Stating that god is the beginning and end of all things as the bible states is not based on fact but on faith. Faith is the ultimate equalizer in these arguments since faith does not require any evidence whatsoever, but rather the conviction of the believer of what is written in the so called holy texts they claim to follow.
There is nothing people will not maintain when they are slaves to superstition
