And yet, God himself went around the Middle East, telling people about hell, and seeing to it that his words about hell would be immortalized in the bible. And here you are, exhorting us to make a decision based on fear of hell.

You're completely two faced. You claim God doesn't want us to choose him out of fear of hell, yet it was He who told us about hell in the first place. That's fucked up.

That's exactly what I said earlier, but was ignored. According to their own silly little book, their deity made appearances or provided evidence on an almost daily basis.

Yet, today, all it seems to be able to do today is appear on grilled-cheese sandwiches.

You mean forego with reason and logic in order to believe simply for the sake of believing? A deluded mind can, of course, imagine that something exists even though it does not, but would living in reality not be so much more enjoyable? I think so.
