What's your sign?

If the hypothetical idea of an afterlife means more to you than the objectively true reality we all share, then you deserve no respect.

How do you work out what your sun and moon signs are? Is it in which constellation the sun and moon rose (or set) when you were born?

I'm meant be an Aries but the signs they use are thousands of years out of date (google astronomy precession to see why) so I'm probably a Gemini or something really.

Go to http://www.Astro.com

At the top click "Free Horoscope"

Find and click on "Personal Portrait" It'll bring you to a data entry page.

Enter your birth information.

Click continue and at the bottom of the page you will see "Planetary positions"

Yeah, precession's a bitch. You think it would make a difference to the result, using the wrong data and all, but apparently nothing that can't be handwaved away.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Astrology was the birth of astronomy. This is why it still features in many peoples mind sets.

And it's just fun and interesting to do. Astrology is completely harmless in the hands of logical and reasonable people. You do your horoscope or natal chart and you go "haha, cool" and move on with your life.

I only know of one person who actually believes it and she is an insane super bitch.

Had my 'Natal Chart' done some 35 years ago. As far as I can tell I have EVERY 'Star Sign' influencing me.

Might account for the"committee" in my head Dunno

Astrology was the birth of astronomy, but then alchemy was the birth of chemistry. Sometimes the offspring outshines the parents.

Kept as a hobby, I see no harm in this stuff. Sometimes I'll take a glance in a free newspaper (I'm not daft!) to see what I'm meant to be doing that day or whatever. Like No_God, I too know one person who's seriously into it. I wouldn't label her insane - not for that anyway - but it does tend to make her, shall we say, have a divisive and categorised opinion of people. Not in any scandalous way... it just makes it easier to surprise her when I do something atypical of the Virgoan I'm supposed to be.
