Imagine you're an advanced alien species. To build a spaceship, you need a fusion reactor. You can build one and supply it with helium, but that's the dumbest idea ever. It's so dumb only a human could think of it.

The sun is a pretty big thing and it would take a lot of energy to move it. Does the sun put out enough energy to accelerate a mass equivalent to itself and then some at a speed practical for interstellar travel?

I'm not convinced your idea is feasible.
