I said I don't want to hear the free-will argument because it's fucking ridiculous, your god has shit all over free-will according to your Bible.

What, your god decided to ignore free-will when he rained a fucking firestorm upon Sodom and Gomorrah, or when he killed every firstborn child of Egypt, or the time he drowned the entire goddamned planet, but if the OT isn't good enough for you how about when he sent his son/self to earth in a human meat-wrapper, healed the sick, and rose the bloody dead?!

Stop using the free-will argument GC, it's fucking tired bullshit.

*drops rage hat*

You site a few times God intervenes in this world and you believe He's taken away free will. Your the crazy one who said God should intervene in the free will of man in order to straighten up man's mess. You little one need to make up your mind what you think God should do. You know I think your that little child who wants it's cake and eat it too. Bet your mom spoiled you until you had no hope but to be a brat who has to have his way, demanding that I not use the free will we have in a discussion, like I said pop to another thread if you don't want to hear about free will.

I wouldn't apply that reasoning to the case mentioned by the OP. Kimberly Lee Lucas appears to be a mentally unstable individual who murdered a child and almost murdered another. What does she learn from this "mistake"? What does the boy learn? The baby girl, sadly, doesn't learn anything from this "mistake." She is dead.

I wasn't addressing the OP, Starvald demanded that I not do something, couldn't resist the chance to show him he's not the boss.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Rationalise it how you want, but it won't change the fact that two children's lives were violated and one is dead. No comment I could ever make could possibly be as nasty as your justifying that.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Don't get me wrong; it was the most excruciating reading challenge I've encountered since the last stop sign I passed.

Who's trying to justify the act of a mentally disturbed women who murdered a little girl and harmed the life of her brother? She tried to justify "her" actions because of a sermon she heard, this woman was mentally unstable and someone knew she wasn't right and should have spoke up before this tragedy happened. People are jumping to conclusions without all the facts, it happens here all the time, you're blaming Christianity and ignoring the fact this woman needed mental help.

We ignore daily, the fact that you need mental help GC. Its not our responsibility if your beliefs lead you to commit an atrocity.

One of the most famous stories in the Bible is of Abraham following God's command to sacrifice his son on an altar, and here is Godschild, telling everybody that it this story was total horse shit and that Abraham must have been a mentally unstable man hearing voices which aren't there telling him to murder his son.

Either that, or God completely forgot to install enough of a brain in his head to process irony.
