The Jews were an instrument used in the killing of Jesus. It you want to get technical, the Romans were the ones who killed Jesus. They're the ones who nailed him to the cross and ran a spear into his side.

The gospels indicate that they didn't quite understand who or what he was at least some of the time, which makes you wonder why they dropped everything and followed him in the first place. So it's difficult to say at which point they went from Jewish to Christian, since I would assume it has to be a conscious choice.
They must have followed him because they recognized God in him, even though they didn't fully comprehend. They probably went from Jewish to Christian on Pentecost when they received the Holy Spirit and went out and began to spread the word.

So now even believers are calling their favorite ethnocentric religious fairy tale a lie.

I don't really care about the Babylonian Talmud. The scripture you pointed out is correct. The Jews did kill Jesus as did the rest of us.

Thanks for the daily joke.
If Jesus was still wiggling on the cross you might have a point. But since he isn't you don't.

My money says that if said narrative props were actually jews, they would have remained jews and died as jews - having believed that their -jewish- messiah had come. Also, that the rest of you were screwed (as a result of said godmans coming). Alas, your boy was no king, and here we are; the sword still in the stone.
