Moon Landing: Fake or Real?
RE: Moon Landing: Fake or Real?
Doesn't matter how much prior work went into it, Stim - it looked too easy. Because "opinion." And "gut feeling."

Don't forget the evil empire is incapable of not faking something so important.

You've already stated that the Moon landing didn't happen because you think it was too easy. I don't know if you're dismissing all six manned landings, or just Apollo 11, or even if you're including all Moon missions including the Russian ones. But I digress.

I and others have presented cases for what would have made the alternative scenario, ie filmed on a studio set, not only too difficult but actually impossible. So my question to you is: given that we have footage of astronauts on the lunar surface, coupled with the recent orbital pictures from the Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter (LRO), one of which I shared earlier, and given the physical impossibilities surrounding mounting the missions anywhere but on the Moon, how do you think it was achieved? It's not enough simply to say “it never happened; it wa too easy“.

Real or fake - make your case.

Yes I was talking about the first landing, you may be right or wrong, I don't really know, but my gut feeling keeps telling me it just didn't happen, and that's all it is, its just my own opinion, but I will not be spoken to by idiots here who don't agree with me in the way they have.

Even a "gut feeling" can have a reason behind it - however small. Stimbo was asking you to present your case so that he/we may offer you the consideration you feel you deserve. To clarify my point: theists have a "gut feeling" and you see how they are treated. Undecided

Don't you see it was only my opinion, but there were some here who think that they can talk me down to their level and this is why I kept hitting back. I feel that a lot of atheist are very arrogant people, I don't have a belief in god myself, but I don't talk down to those who do, and this is what I don't like about atheist, and also why I don't call myself one.

Was it a gut feeling or the Chile con carne trying to tell you something more urgent?

I believe with more than 50% belief that 9-11 wasn't what we are told it was.
And I'm not about to fart either!

The moon landing was real. As real as can be!

And as an arrogant atheist you would know, wouldn't you.

Not arrogant... Please...
Believing whether we landed on the moon or not is not really that much different to any belief...
There will always be someone who will disagree...
If 99% of the people here believe it is real, (#and we have no agenda to push), would you agree?
Other than proof, which I cannot give you, how else can we prove?

Didn't mean to offend, it's not my nature ...forgive me ...just having some fun...

Well of course that's fine in itself, but as someone once said “you're entitled to your own opinion; you're not entitled to your own facts.“ Given the weight and the consensus of evidence against your gut feeling, are you willing to concedee the point and change your opinion?

Do you even hear yourself? “Talk me down to their level“ versus “I feel that a lot of atheist[s] are arrogant people“. There is arrogance coming across, to be sure, but it's not coming from the direction you think it is.

You're trying to make this into more than it actually is. When someone over-reacts so sharply to having their opinions challenged, it's only natural and reasonable to wonder whether there's something else going on.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes you are right, you have no proof, as I don't also.

Please don't play the psychoanalyst with me, I know what I'm saying, its my opinion and I wont change that until I have more evidence that I'm happy with. Why is it so important for you to want me to think like you, would be more happier if I did, would you sleep better, well this little black duck isn't going to make your wish come true, well, not for now anyway, but thank you for your concern.
