Quote:Evidence is not proof . . .

Lots of people get hung up on the concept of "proof." Evidence accumulates. Proof seems illusory.

All the posts I had made were deleted!

I was restricted from replying or even posting.

I used to post at Worthy last fall. I stuck around for about a month.

Their ToS was pretty clear that non-believers only have access to three subforums, and that's it (although, I could chat). Your issue seems that you were further moderated.

I was careful to stay well inside their ToS (better than many of their regulars). I must have pissed several people off and gotten a bunch of reported posts, because at about the same time, two mods started questioning me via PMs, wanting to know why I was there.

I made a point to say that I was within their ToS, and two things happened:
1) One mod mentioned that a softly spoken or well-reasoned argument against God can be more damaging than overt yelling.

2) They both started to re-interpret the ToS to say that you have to be wanting to convert to Christianity to post there, since it's a ministry forum. The ToS doesn't say this.

So, basically, they didn't want me poking holes in their dumb arguments with my well-reasoned ones, and several people were getting rustled jimmies. What really gets me is there was one mod who seemed really cool (although I never saw him post). He had a sticky up in their apologetics forum labeled "For the believers". It was telling them that non-believers are people to, they deserve respect, the ToS also applies to believers, non-believers will approach things from a different perspective, and if any of this bothers you, pray about it and consider not posting there. That guy seemed awesome. He saw the differences and wanted to put them out there in a sticky.

I brought him up to the other two mods, and they said mods can't supersede admins (despite his post remaining stickied), and apparently the apologetics forum isn't for discussing apologetics. So, I was never banned, but it became apparent that it was getting pointless to post there, so I left on my own. I may or may not check it out again, now that it's been over half a year.

But listen to the way some of them whine if we don't treat them with deference here, including demanding we only use words of which they approve.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

I was also contacted by a mod and they were trying to tell me that it was not a personal attack, also I got into an email war with the mods, in which I through their own

So what?

I mean if I want to start a forum for the benefit of people who share my interest in dressing in drag and hurling lime jelly at a cardboard cutout of Bill Nye, and I don't want those crazy fools who hurl strawberry Jelly instead, that's my business isn't it?

Ah. In that case I believe "imperialist pig" is the correct term.
