hey, everyone

i'm here because i'm seeking smart and intellectually challenging conversation and arguments.

i don't capitalize unless i have to because i'm lazy and that's just my boarding style.

i'm 31 yrs old. i've been an atheist for the last year and half and an antitheist for the last 6 months.

i was born into a catholic family who kept wandering through religion trying to find its home. eventually that led me to atheism and led my parents to evangelism! crazy for crazier.

i attribute my liberation from religious oppression to my dear husband and Penn Jillette, seriously. then they opened me up to all kinds of wonderful freedoms and thoughts that i never would have had otherwise.

they also made me a libertarian, but don't hate me for that.

anyway, here i am. i hope to contribute something, but mostly i hope to learn from you and the community and continue to expand my mind!

We care not for style. We care for proper writing in the official language of the forum.
The first letter of every sentence must be capitalized.
When referring to the self, the I must be capitalized.
When using proper nouns (people, countries,etc), the first letter must be capitalized.
That is all.

Sorry but I can't get over the capitalization as I think of it as either lack of education for not bothering to be polite. I give special dispensation to those texting. I'll try to look the other way and read what you write none-the-less. Hello and welcome just the same.
