Green Coke

RE: Green Coke
I can drink them all and still prefer water.
Ice tea seems to be one of the least sugary soft drinks out there

We can still get Coke in glass bottles over here - yeah!!!

No comparison with the canned variety - lets not talk about plastic.

As for the diet varieties I have found that artificial sweeteners set off my Tinnitus to a greater degree than sugar (although that impacts it too).

Other than that the dietary implications of long term use of artificial sweeteners is unknown. I find it suspicious that there are so many names for the same thing (aspartame, NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, Equal-Measure.....)

Almost as if the marketers are trying to confuse the public....

Ah, aspartame. I remember when a revolutionary new sweet treat called “CoolMints“ came out, containing aspartame, back in those heady, carefree days before its interesting laxative effects were well known. I ate four packets non-stop - and I choose the phrase “non-stop“ deliberately, because that's also a perfect description of how I spent the next two days. I'm sure there are easier ways to lose weight, but there are few quicker.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Not that I'm impugning glass bottles or anything, I'm just kinda interested in the idea of regional colas. Tongue

I have tasted Mexican coke and it is identical to the Australian product, so I believe the Australian version has cane sugar in it.

RE: Green Coke
Coca-Cola in a bottle reminds me of Mean Joe Greene. They should ditch Green Coke and put the original back in a bottle and call it Greene Coke. Instant best seller. At least in Pittsburgh.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I once had a similar experience after a drinking race with pina-coladas. High doses of coconut milk don't stay long.....

Fuck!

I though I was going to be getting the option of choosing a color when I buy coke.

Yeah yeah, give me an 8-ball of the purple.

I think so, too. I visited a McDonald's in Australia and I was pleased to find that they used real beef rather than the pitiful meat-flavored patties they use here.
