What advice would you give to your younger self?

What advice would you give to your younger self?
I'll start off.

1. Don't wish to gain honor or distinction from people. Real honor comes only from God.

2. Never hate anyone too much, but instead try to forgive them if they wronged you because that is better for yourself.

3. Don't spy on others. The truth will more than likely become apparent sooner or later anyway.

4. When you notice a problem in someone's behavior, first ask yourself whether or not you have the same problem as he does.

5. Your faith is the greatest blessing, so keep on nurturing it.

(I stole this topic from another forum, btw).

Don't always settle for crossing that bridge when you get there. Also start working out, or take steps to keep the bullies off your back. Otherwise middle/highschool is going to suck all that much more.

"Don't do it"

Applicable in many situations.

" . . . especially with him, he's a tool."

More specific.

"Don't take the 'break' from university."

Yeah, those "breaks" have a way of extending themselves, don't they?

Loyalty is bullshit, it's almost always abused or completely misplaced.

Just because you are good at something doesn't mean you should do it, or that you'll enjoy it.

Drink water, it's awesome.

Relax and stop caring what others think of you.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

"Take better care of your skin."

"Don't make that facial expression; it'll cause wrinkles."

"Don't smoke."

Yeah... I'm 37 and obsessed with aging right now. I wish I could be and stay 29 forever.

That reminds me of another one:

Don't trust people too much, but don't be overly suspicious of them either.
