When every historian, from every point of view in the world, has never and would never seriously consider the hypothesis that the Bible was first written in the 14th century by Englishmen; and every archeologist who's ever lived, since it was a recognized profession--and thousands of writers who wrote before the 14th century--are well-aware that the Bible was not written by Englishmen in the 14th century (wait did people who knew of the Bible before the 14th century have a time machine?!? I wouldn't be surprised if you claimed this too); and when you can't provide ONE citation for the claim you keep spouting, then let's see...

You've got to be kidding. Tell me you're kidding? It's a dumb book with reprehensible morals. But is was written between 400 B.C. and 100 A.D. 1400 A.D has nothing to do with it except as translations.

The Vulgate was the first book that qualified as the Bible and it was written by a committee of Englishmen as a gift to the Pope. There were a couple of other copies and that was it. No one else had the book. Wycliffe and his committee came along and write their version and people gained access to it. The main reson so many people believe in it is that it was written by Englishmen, which gave it credibility.

If you notice they didn't give the main characters traditional Middle East Jewish names. They also included numerous clues to show that it was just a collection of B.S. stories, which some of you are smart enough to catch.

What do you think these were manuscripts of? They were the Old and New Testaments... complied together, with some variations in different churches but overall similar, to what we call the Bible.

Funny, now you're contradicting your earlier claims because the oldest copy of the Vulgate that currently exists is from the 8th century.
