I don't know if atheist give value to righteousness. But as an agnostic, the righteous punishment of immoral behavior would far exceed what God dishes out to non believers.

But the boozers manage to carry gallons of wine on their way to the love den while the town is getting vaporized and the wife is getting salted. Based on their actions they slit her throat as soon as they got out of town. Sure. Ever been to a hurricane party - or watched refugees scramble for a safe zone (and subsequently their actions within that safe zone)? IOW, sounds legit. Have to add here, per the booze bit, that we have to remember that booze has been safer than water for the majority of human history. Can't really hold it against us for dragging the shine jug everywhere we go.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
According to the fairy tale Lot was soused out of his mind for a couple of days. The only other people in the scene was his skanky daughters. So who told the story about them screwing Lot? Did they tell their kids that their father was their granddad?
The Bible is full of one and two person scenes where all kinds of fanciful things happen. A thinking person should call all of those stories BS.
Don't forget the dead narrators

Those Englishmen were some great story-tellers.
