A solution presents itself. All the non-nut ski mask proponents can find a way to get the ski masks off the nuts - then they can have their ski masks. Maybe they'll listen to each other better than they listen to us. Tell the whackos to cowboy up and take off the girly headdresses. Why are they wearing them anyway? Likely soliciting ultra conservative muslim johns for some quality man-on-trans.

That's what I remember as a kid when I first saw that on the news. "Ghosts with dunce caps".

When I was young I knew nothing about the KKK, but I remember being really confused one day when my whole town was in a complete uproar over a Halloween party in front of the court house. It took me years to figure that one out.

Let me just offer, that when you're young and you -do- know an awful lot about the kkk - it still takes a good long while to figure those guys out.....

I'm kind of with Jacob on this one. It seems like a dangerous precedent that could lead to further encroachments on individual liberty, which is ironic considering that promotion of individual liberty is what this law presumably is being touted as. If women are being forced to wear this in France, then the politicians should focus on expanding the standard outlets available to assist women who are victims in their own homes... but banning clothing that many probably wish to wear is not an appropriate solution for a free, liberal democracy.

My ski-mask shonuff, your liquor store - say o'dark-thirty?
She can wear it at home.

Is it illegal to wear a ski mask in public? And are criminals typically found to be running around in niqabs?

In France it is.
Why should a few people get to pick and choose what face coverings are and are not permissible for everyone else? Is there hard data to support that this is in everyone's best interest?
