Probably along the lines of "go fuck yourself you ignorant retard."
You can't be subtle with some people.

By pointing out that the god of the bible is neither omniscient nor omnipotent. The god of the book of genesis clearly does not know everything. Once Adam and Eve have eaten of the fruit they hide themselves in the bushes. God walks through the garden and asks "where are you?" Why should he ask? Didn't he know? According to the story he did not know, nor did he know about the serpent until he was told. God is also not omnipotent. He is unable, for example, to win a wrestling match with Jacob.
Most scientific arguments and logical arguments won't get through. Scriptural arguments might. Quote:By pointing out that the god of the bible is neither omniscient nor omnipotent. Well, then there is Quote:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And then a little later he felt compelled to drown nearly everything because it had all gone to shit. Something of a fuck up, that god of theirs.
I'd like to add a few things:
1.you're retarded 2.you're retarded 3.you're retarded 4.you're racist 5.you're ignorant 6.you're retarded 7.you're ignorant
My YEC buddy decided to stop talking to me three weeks ago because I don't share his beliefs. I haven't had a headache in three weeks

Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, was a racist and believed that there were higher and lower races of people. The whole theory of evolution is based on this racially discriminative principle. Several problems with this. Almost every European was racist at the time. Darwin was actually quite a bit less so than most. He had a famous ongoing debate with the Christian captain (Robert FitzRoy) of the Beagle, where Darwin vehemently condemned slavery, which was supported by Fitzroy based on the Bible. Creationists are notorious for misunderstanding (or more likely lying about) the full tittle of his book, "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life". They mistake the use of the word 'Race' as pertaining to the races of humans, but in reality, 19th century naturalists simply meant distinct populations within a specific species. Darwin talks about 'races of cabbages' in "Origin of the Species". Humans aren't even mentioned until that close to the end of the book. Even if Darwin was a racist, that does not negate the facts of his theory. The inventor of the transistor, William Shockly, was a racist. Doesn't negate his work. Just makes him an asshole. You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence. Indeed - and if one is going to dismiss evolution because Darwin may have harbored racist beliefs, one may as well smash every piece of modern electronics (produced in the semiconductor era) to smithereens. Start with the device you post here with. Have fun with that. Quote:1. The Bible is the Word of God, the ultimate truth. God knows more than humans, since He is omniscient by definition, so anything He says is true. Therefore the Bible is true. You might ask him why, if the Bible is true in every particular, it lists bats among the birds. Quote: 2. Humans, on the other hand, will never know as much as the Creator. Because they have a limited capacity to understand, they will always be below the Creator's knowledge. But we know that bats are not birds, something God is (apparently) unclear about. Quote:3. Scientists are limited to observing and testing the principles of nature only for the present. They will never be able to know what happened in the past. The only answer to this is to bash him repeatedly over the head with a copy of 'The Handbook Of Inductive Reasoning'. The unabridged version, please. Quote:4. Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, was a racist and believed that there were higher and lower races of people. The whole theory of evolution is based on this racially discriminative principle. Darwin can only be considered a 'racist' by the hypersensitive standards of today. Evolution is manifestly NOT based on notions of racial superiority. If Darwin was racist ('racialist' might be a better term), he was an extremely mild and enlightened one. Quote:5. Are you really asking me to believe that a star, which came out of nothing, exploded and created the whole Universe? No. No one is asking you to believe that. Quote:6. Evolution teaches us that humans evolved from monkeys. How can you explain the existence of monkeys today? Already well answered. I'll just add: All people are descended with modification from their parents: Why are there still parents? Quote:7. The second law of thermodynamics, which is part of science, disproves evolution. A scientific law contradicts a scientific theory, therefore the theory isn't true. I agree that if no energy whatsoever were added to a system, that system would not evolve. So? Boru
