Every 'spirit' is borne of the mind, lives in the mind, and dies with the mind.

Looking over the results of the poll so far I see that two out of three people who chose B-2 also chose B-3. In other words those who professed belief there is no god also affirm non-belief in god. I wanted to select both too but I didn't feel I could without qualifications. Namely, I'd have to specify that in relation to gods as entities apart from people, that create the cosmos and have unimaginable powers .. those I believe do not exist. It isn't that I have evidence to show it or an argument I expect to be persuasive. Rather, when I think of that sort of gods it just seems so absurdly silly that I dismiss them out of hand. No rationalization required.

I had to select K-2 and K-3

I do not know if any gods exist, but there are many that are logically impossible and I know they're bullshit.

I've included choices regarding belief, knowledge, interest in gods (apatheism), coherence (ignosticism), interest in understanding the phenomenon of god belief (phenomenological status, stance toward the supernatural, and belief in life after death.

I do not believe in gods. I not know to a certainty that gods do not exist but I'm 6.9999 on the Dawkins scale (why did he pick seven rather than 10?). I'm much more sure that specific gods don't exist. These would include the Judeo/Christian/Islamic/Mormon one; and the Flying Spaghetti Monster, bless his noodly appendages.

It matters to me to know whether a god interested in humans exists. It matters less if there is a first mover or disinterested creator.

I believe the concept of "god" is sufficiently well understood among most Westerners to be sure we are all on the same page when considering whether such a creature exists though occasionally I bump into someone out in left field proclaiming that math is god. Talk to people from other traditions and it gets fuzzier.

It is of interest to me to understand the phenomenon of god belief and the role it plays in human affairs. Besides I was forced to learn much about the Judeo/Christian one and the knowledge comes in useful now and then especially when reading anything pre 1950.

I do not believe in anything that is supernatural.

I have no belief in a continuance of 'self' beyond death.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
